Couldn't have picked a better motel for a rest day! In fact it appears to be the only one in town! Spacious, opposite the small shopping centre and on an easy exit route back to the main highway.
Buildings protected with high fences and shops with roll down security doors.
Evidence of "villages" of worker accommodation. Saw one big block of windowless "boxes" and a tired apartment block.
A large, eye catching, blue and black leisure centre and a theatre provide activities for residents. Grassy areas are being encouraged here and there with regular watering.
Shopped for stores at Coles and approached by Ian with a donation. Much appreciated, Ian.
Slept heavily for a while during the afternoon.
