Dingo Territory! Victoria River to Timber Creek - 91kms

Left the Roadhouse at 6.00am, in the dark. Magic to see the sunrise light up the red cliffs of the range around us.

Heard dingos howling in the darkness and later saw several dingo bodies on the roadside.

Plodded up endless, gradual inclines for 70kms, then were rewarded with 20kms of mainly downhill runs to Timber Creek - which consists of a roadhouse and hotel, side by side, both offering camping and motel rooms.

As we arrived, Helen, Chris and the Schmid Steuri family approached us with donations. Thank you sincerely, folks.

With two roadside camps ahead, we took a motel room for tonight.

There's a stunning boab tree in the grounds and crocodiles in the creek at the back. Croc feeding tonight! Hope to get some pics!
